JEWLERY CARE

Bruma jewelry is built on a stainless-steel base — chosen because it holds up to salt water, sunscreen and daily wear far better than plated brass. A little care keeps it bright for years.

Everyday

  • Put jewelry on last, after skincare, perfume and hair products.
  • It's fine in the sea and the pool, but rinse in fresh water and wipe dry afterwards — salt and chlorine dull any finish over time.
  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth now and then to bring back the shine.

Pieces with detail

  • Zirconia (Concha): avoid knocking the stones; clean with a soft dry brush, not liquid cleaner.
  • Resin beads (Corazon): waterproof, but keep away from strong heat and direct sun for long periods.
  • Enamel & coloured accents (Verde): wipe gently; don't soak.
  • Cord bracelets (Bamboo Bracelets): take them off before swimming — the cord lasts longer dry.

Storing

Keep each piece flat in the pouch it came in, or in a soft-lined box. Store separately so chains don't tangle and edges don't scratch. Somewhere dry, out of direct sun.

If a finish changes

The stainless-steel base won't rust, but a gold or coloured tone can wear at points of constant friction over a long time. Email us — we can often re-finish or replace a piece.
